Our founder Konrad has been a serial entrepreneur since elementary school. Backyard film production in the late seventies led to independent film and theater production in high school, culminating with becoming President of the Film Club and starting a New York-based Video Real Estate business by age 18 in the days before the Internet, DVDs, and CD-ROMs.
His Career
College yielded continued success on independent film production. Konrad was president, founder, and CEO of New York-based KRM, Inc., which invented the successfully trademarked Lapryder, a food and beverage tray for passenger vehicles. This product was designed to address where to place food and drinks while in a motor vehicle. At this time, in the early 90s, no automobile manufacturer had designed cup holders for their cars. Konrad co-founded the entertainment company Wavelength NYC, writing, composing, and recording more than 40 original songs. This musical group toured the northeast, recorded three records, and signed with independent label Gorilla Records.
